* Anselmus Dap (Boy) (rip) is the greatest name when it comes to carnival Tumba in Curaçao. Boy was a trendsetter who came with many changes through the years. He was crowned the Rei di Tumba (Tumba King (title given to the winner of the festival)) of the first Tumba festival held in 1971. Boy won the festival for a record 10 times (1971, 1973, 1974, 1979, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1989, 1992 and 1997). Because of his multiple titles Boy was known as the Tata di Tumba (The father of the Tumba). In 1997 after winning his 10th title, the government of Curaçao crowned Boy as the Emperor of Tumba.
