ShakarParay | Shakarpara (Sugar Coated)
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 3 Cups
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp
-Ghee 3 tbs
-Pani (Water) 3/4 Cup or as required
-Cooking oil for frying
-Cheeni (Sugar) 1 Cup
-Pani (Water) 1/4 Cup
-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 3

Directions:
-In a bowl add all-purpose flour, salt and mix.
-Add ghee and mix until crumbled.
-Gradually add water and knead until dough is formed. Cover & let it rest for 15 minutes.
-Knead dough again until smooth and divide into two equal parts.
-Take one part and make a ball. Sprinkle dry flour and roll out with the help of rolling pin.
-Cut rolled dough into desired shape with knife.
-In a wok heat cooking oil and fry on medium flame until golden brown.
-In saucepan add sugar, water and green cardamom. Mix well and cook until sugar is dissolved and syrup comes to a 1 thread consistency.
-Now add fried shakar paray and coat them well with the syrup.
-Let it cool and enjoy.
-Can be stored in airtight jar for up to 1 week.

Ajza:
-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 3 Cups
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp
-Ghee 3 tbs
-Pani (Water) 3/4 Cup or as required
-Cooking oil for frying
-Cheeni (Sugar) 1 Cup
-Pani (Water) 1/4 Cup
-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 3

Directions:
-Bowl mein maida aur namak daAl ker mix ker lein.
-Ghee daal dein aur crumbled honay tak mix karein.
-Thora thora ker k pani shamil karein aur goond ker dough tayyar ker lein aur dhak ker 15 minutes k liye rakh dein.
-Dough ko smooth honay tak dubara goond lein aur do hisson mein divide ker lein.
-Ek part lein aur paira bana lein. Maida chirak dein aur rolling pin ki madad sa bail lein.
-Rolled dough ko knife ki madad se apni marzi ki shakal mein cut ker lein.
-Karhai mein cooking oil garam karein aur darmiyani ancch per golden brown hunay tak fry ker lein.
-Saucepan mein cheeni, pani aur hari elaichi daal ker ache tarha mix karein aur cheeni ghul janay aur 1 thread consistency anay tak sheera paka lein.
-Fried shakar paray daal ker sheeray mein ache tarha coat ker lein.
-Thanda ker lein or paish karen.
-1 week tak airtight jar mein store ker saktay hain.
