A Beautiful Tearjerker - Planetarian: ANIME VS VISUAL NOVEL!

Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet, developed by Key and VisualArts, is a very short visual novel, but emotional nonetheless. In this short installment to the Key visual novel library, this VN shows a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has eradicated itself. Our main protagonist stumbles upon a robot girl, Yumemi Hoshino, where she awaits the next guest to the planetarium, despite not receiving a visitor in 30 years.

This video will cover the differences between the anime and the visual as well as my thoughts on both mediums.

We are going to cover whether or not you should watch Planetarian if you have already read the visual novel, whether or not it’s alright to watch Planetarian if you haven’t read the visual novel, and whether it’s actually worth watching after all.
