The Most Successful Dong created for the Olympics

Korea hosted the 1988 Summer Olympics, which was a big surprise. They won their bet against Japan against all odds. In the wake of the Olympics, the beautification of Seoul began, and Bangi-dong transformed into what it is today. The Olympic Park and the Athlete Village take most of Bangi and carry the stories of Korea's big turning point: the 88 Olympics.

1988년 대한민국에서 하계 올림픽이 개최되었습니다. 다른 후보지였던 일본을 상대로 승리를 거둔 결과였죠. 올림픽을 계기로 오늘날 서울의 미화 작업이 진행되었고, 그 모습은 현재의 방이동에서도 잘 드러납니다. 올림픽 공원과 선수촌은 방이동의 큰 부분을 차지하며 한국의 커다란 전환점의 이야기를 간직하고 있습니다. 바로 '88올림픽'입니다!
