Lithium cells can be dangerous if over charged and damaged if over discharged and so need protection boards.This video demonstrates some of the experiments I've carried to determine the maximum current from one of these boards. Also the function of the 8205A dual FET chip.which switches off when the cell is over charged or over discharged. Part 2 will examine how the DW01 chip reacts to voltages and controls the 8205A. Couple of mistakes OD is over discharge not over drain and the diode in the 8205 is not an LED I'm sure there are more if you find any please leave a comment.
