在密林环绕、雪山水浸润的香格里拉藏地深处坐落着一个小村落——汤堆，尼西黑陶便发源于此。黑陶，使用超2000年的生活器具，是藏民生活传统、民俗风情的载体，亦是集使用、观赏、工艺为一体的艺术品，于2008年被列入国家级非物质文化遗产名录。
In the dense forests and snow-capped mountains of Shangri-La, there is a small village called Tangdui, the birthplace of Nixi black pottery. With over 2000 years of history, black pottery embodies the traditional lifestyle and folk customs of the Tibetan people. It is an art form that combines functionality, aesthetic appeal, and craftsmanship. In 2008, Nixi black pottery was inscribed on the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China.
