On the 13th of March 2021, exactly a month after the train was supposed to run but didn’t due to a surprise Snap COVID-19 lockdown in Victoria, Steamrail Victoria rostered its own S313 and special guest locomotive V/Line A66 made an appearance on Steamrail Victoria’s Annual Otway Explorer Tour. The train ran with E and S type carriages and made a dash to Warrnambool that day, further than the Camperdown turnaround they did the previous year. The train left southern cross at around 8:40 and made a dash on the regional rail link to Manor and then off to Geelong where it performed a small stop for operational requirements. It then climbed the bank up Geelong tunnel and crossed an UP Warrnambool at Marshall. It then ran express to Colac where passengers disembarked for the tour option to Explore the Otway Ranges. The rest of the passengers continued through to the loop at Camperdown to Cross another V/line and then running straight to Warrnambool before doing the same trip in reverse to Melbourne.

We see the train at Spotswood transferring to Melbourne Southern Cross from Newport West Block, then at West Footscray on the RRL, up to the industrial area of Geelong, Corio, before we see it from the car at South Geelong Tunnel. Escaping geelong, we see it at Waurn Ponds, Winchelsea, Warncoort and then Colac where we conclude our chase and the train Continues.
