Описание к видео 1996: Indianapolis Colts vs Washington Redskins Remastered NFL Highlights

This was how it was supposed to be for Norv Turner and the Redskins. On this perfect October day at RFK, Gus Frerotte was humming the ball, Henry Ellard was carving out surgical pass routes, Terry Allen was rumbling through huge holes and Brian Mithcell was dazzling the crowd with spectacular kick returns. Everything Turner hoped the Redskins could be they were on this glorious day as the 6-1 Redskins outdueled the visiting 5-2 Colts, 31-16, to the delight of the hometown faithful. Although the Redskins would finish with a winning record for the first time in four seasons, this level of success faded towards season's end was never quite recaptured.

But still, it was all sunshine for Washington on this lovely afternoon, made all the more special with the great Dick Enberg (Ooooh, My!) on the call for what would be NBC's final broadcast from RFK Stadium.
