Ras Malai Cake
Cake bhi aur Mithai bhi!
This Ras Malai Cake is delicious to eat and too good looking to resist!
I won’t say much, just check the recipe and try it out!

Rasmalai Cake
Preparation Time: 50 minutes
Cooking Time: 4 minutes
Serves: 4-5

Ingredients:
1 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Cardamom Powder
3/4 cup Buttermilk
1 cup powdered Sugar
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Almond Extract
1/4 cup Rasmalai Milk
5 cups Whipped Cream
6-7 drops Lemon Yellow Color
1/4 cup Rasmalai Milk
8 Rasmalai
Dried Rose petals & Pistachio slices to garnish

Method:
Sift together the flour, cardamom powder, baking powder and set aside.
Mix together the buttermilk and sugar. Add in the baking soda and set aside for 5 minutes till frothy.
Add the almond extract, ¼ cup flavored milk and mix well. Fold in the dry ingredients.
Mix to get a lump free, consistent batter.
Pour in a prepared tin and bake at 175C for 35 minutes or Microwave for 4 minutes on High mode.
Remove the cake and allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes.
Demold the cake and cool completely. Cut the cake in 3 slices.
Add the lemon yellow color, remaining rasmalai milk to the whipped cream and whip well.
Brush the cake with some milk and then cover with the whipped cream. Arrange some pieces of chopped Rasmalai.
Place the next slice of cake and repeat. Cover with the last slice. Brush the top with a little milk.
Cover the cake with whipped cream. Garnish with sliced pistachios, dried rose petals and small rasmalai as well.
Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
