Let's focus on one of the most important skills on the uneven bars- KIPS! In this week’s Homenastics, Coach Tony & Lea demonstrate how to use the 5 in 1 bar in a creative way! Mastering a kip can be a challenge, but these two drills help target the toughest parts of the skill. In the first exercise, watch how Lea pushes off the lower bar and leans her shoulders way over at the top. In the second exercise, she uses her core to bring her toes to the bar, remembering to keep her head neutral. These exercises may be tough at first, but the 5 in 1 bar is completely adjustable, meaning you can also increase or decrease the difficulty of these drills with the spacing of the rails!
