A detective from the Latent Fingerprint and Photography detail of the Los Angeles County Sherriff Department investigates a murder, and some unusual fingerprints from the scene are the key to the killer. Lloyd Corrigan plays Sergeant Erickson. Thinking of retiring, the intriguing case gives him second thoughts. Corrigan is convincing and likeable as a man seeking the truth. His relationship with his wife Martha, who is concerned he works way too hard, is heart warming.
