The west extension of Shunde section of Guangzhou Metro Line 7 is the third urban rail transit artery connecting Guangzhou and Foshan after the first phase of Guangfo Line and Foshan Metro Line 2. From Guangzhou South Railway Station to Meidi Avenue, the total length is 13.447 kilometers, there are 8 stations, and the whole journey takes about 22 minutes. The metro line greatly facilitates Shunde District, Foshan, and can directly access the Guangzhou metro network.
