Why & How? Using N.I.N.A. and APT - A Night Imaging NGC 4274

Описание к видео Why & How? Using N.I.N.A. and APT - A Night Imaging NGC 4274

I have been using APT for a few years now and love it accept for the autofocusing. I began using N.I.N.A. a while ago because of the robust autofocus routine. What is great about the autofocus is you can do the routine on the object you are imaging, you do NOT have to go off the object to find a bright star. N.I.N.A. is similar to SGP in the way it works users whereas APT is much different. That is a subject for a different video. However, if you are the type that likes and is able to have everything planned out well in advance , then N.I.N.A. is probably more suited for you. I have a poor FOV and live in an area where the weather changes by the minute so I have to change things on the fly - APT is a bit simpler for this type of imaging which is why I have not switched to N.I.N.A. for everything. However, I have done a complete night with it including an automatic meridian flip and it worked really well.
