Otis Series 1 Hydraulic Elevator at The Sea Mist Resort (Convention Center) in Myrtle Beach, SC

In a Resort that once had a bunch of Series 1s, this is the only one that is still original.... But hey, it's better than nothing, and as you can see, it is glass and has GREAT Views of Ocean Boulevard!!!! This is also a VERY EARLY Series 1, and despite being over 35 years old, it still runs like a champ!!!! And hopefully it will NOT be modernized!!!! Especially since this is the LAST Original Elevator in this property!!!! This is the only elevator I filmed that wasn't on the Oceanfront at this Resort, and there were 2 more buildings next to this one that I didn't film due to time, but judging from what i saw on the street, one of them appeared to be a U.S. with a Cavinder mod.... That all being said, enjoy!
