Affliction by George Herbert in Tamil / PG TRB/ Bharath Ravindran / Bharath Academy. 'Affliction' is an autobiographical poem. Herbert came from an aristocratic family. He made up his mind to become a priest. In course of time he began to feel dissatisfied with his life as a priest. His old ambition returned to him. Though he is assailed by doubts and misgivings, he decides to remain firm in his love for God and his devotion to Him.
