SPOP Adora AMV - Shatter Me

Описание к видео SPOP Adora AMV - Shatter Me

I haven't actually made a purely Adora-focused video since season one, which is a shame because despite being the main character she kind of gets lost in the shuffle when discussing the show's portrayal of morality, personal responsibility, and taking your destiny into your own hands.

The song is "Shatter Me (feat. Lzzy Hale)" by Lindsey Stirling. The song uses a metaphor of a wind-up figurine in a snowglobe to represent wanting to break free of some external control, be that imposed by another person, society at large, or your own preconceptions of how you're supposed to act. Adora's arc in season 4 explores that struggle beautifully, culminating when, at the climax, she declares: "I am not a weapon," and literally shatters the object of that control.

Also the song just kicks ass.
