Saint Devasahayam Pillai Pilgrimage on 9th December 2023

Fr. Rector Pascalius, Fr.Kevin, Dn.Ajin. In addition, we thanked two parishioners who sponsored the breakfast and lunch to all deaf participants.

Catholic Deaf Association of India organised Saint Devasahayam Pillai Pilgrimage on 9th December 2023. Around 110 Deaf participants visited St.Francis Cathedral Kottar Nagercoil for St. Devasahayam Pillai burial, Mount, Puliyoorkurichy and Nattalam. Members visited these places from Thrissur, Kottayam, Kannur, Ernakulam, Alappuzha, Idukki, Trivandrum and Mangalore zones
Fr.Jenisten, Fr.Biju Moolakarana, Fr.George Thermadom offered the Holy Mass in Indian Sign Language (ISL) at St. Francis Cathedral, Kottar, Nagercoil with Dn. Joseph Thermadom. In addition, Our spiritual fathers explained the importance of the pilgrimage to our members at St. Devasahayam Pillai burial, Mount, Puliyoorkurichy and Nattalam. This trip was an outstanding experience regarding Saint Devasahayam Pillai Pilgrimage.

Next year, the Catholic Deaf Association of India will plan to organise the pilgrimage of St.Francis Xavier, Goa.
