NEW CROCHET PATTERN ▶ How to crochet a pink wine koozie! In this crochet tutorial, I show you how to crochet a simple wine koozie that has handles for easy transportation.

Crochet Wine Koozie Pattern:
Crochet Hook: G / 6 / 4.25MM
Yarn: Size 4, Medium Weight (Lion Brand Yarns, Re-Up Recycled Cotton and Polyester Blend, Colors: Rosewater and Surf Spray)

Attach yarn to crochet hook using a Magic Circle (MC).
Row 1: CH 1 and place 8 SC inside MC.
Row 2: Use a st marker to mark the 1st st of this row, skip the CH 1, then place 2 SC in each st in the row, following a spiral pattern (16 total SC st).
Row 3: 1 SC in st 1, 2 SC in st 2. Repeat ** around the row (24 total SC st).
Row 4: 1 SC in st 1 - 2, 2 SC in st 3. Repeat ** around the row(32 total SC st).
Row 5: 1 SC in st 1 - 3, 2 SC in st 4. Repeat ** around the row (40 total SC st).
Rows 6 - 44: Place 1 SL st in the FLO of each st in the row, following the spiral pattern still. Finish the last row by placing 1 SL st in the full st of the next st, then the BLO of the following st.
Row 45: Remove crochet hook from loop, insert st marker in the loop to preserve it. Attach Color B to crochet hook using a SL st and insert crochet hook in the FLO of the last st worked in previous row. Place 1 SC in this st and CH 1. Skip the next st and place 1 SC in the following st. CH 1 and skip the next st, then place 1 SC in the following st. Repeat * around the row.
Rows 46 - 48: Working in the gaps between the SC stitches, 1 SC in the gap between the previous row’s SC st, CH 1. Repeat ** around the row, following a spiral pattern. At the end of the last row, after the last SC st, CH 1, then place 1 SL st in the next gap. Cut and tie off Color B Yarn.
Row 49: Insert crochet hook in Color A yarn’s preserved loop (from Row 45). CH 3, then working in the last row, insert the crochet hook in the 2nd st back from where you tied off Color B yarn (this should be the CH 1 before you placed the SL st) and place 1 SL st here. Place 1 SL st in the next st, then skip over the portion where you tied off the yarn and place 1 SL st in the remaining st in the row until you get back to the 1st SL st.
Rows 50 - 54: Place 1 SL st in the FLO of each st in each row.
Row 55: CH 10, then skip 10 st. Place 1 SL st in the FLO of the next 10 st. CH 10, then skip 10 st. Place 1 SL st in the FLO of the next 10 st (this should bring you back to the 1st handle.
Row 56: Place 1 SL st in the FLO of each st in the row.
Rows 57 - 63: Repeat Row 56. End the last row between the 2nd and 1st handle, place 1 SL st under the full st in the following 2 st.
Cut and tie off yarn.
