Off Duty Cop Arrested For Assault - Bodycam

Full Police Report:

“I responded to Peanuts Restaurant and Lounge in reference to a Battery. Upon my arrival, I was shown a photograph obtained from the bouncer, Todd, of the defendant (later identified as Naci Tuzcuolu). I then heard shouting that the defendant was located on the balcony of the Flagler Tavern. As I walked into the Flagler Tavern and observed the defendant that positively matched the photograph, walking out of the stairway. I then detailed the defendant.

Then I spoke with Officer Dunbar who state the following:

He spoke with the victim who advised that he was standing outside the bar, when a male hit him. Victim advised the male told him he was a cop. Victim filled out a sworn written statement and Marsy’s law form, which he wants his information withheld. Victim sustained a small cut to his left eye and bridge of his nose. Victim wants to pursue charges.

He then spoke to the bouncer who stated the following:

The male with the long sleeve blue shirt punched Victim knocking him to the flower pot. The Victim's wife got in between them. The defendant punched Victim two more times in the face while he was laying on the flower pot. He then got in between the Victim and Defendant. The Bouncer advised the victim did not start anything, only the defendant.

He then spoke with the victims wife tho states:

She was standing outside the bar with her husband. The defendant came up and punched Victim knocking him into a flower pot. She got in between them. The defendant then punched victim two more times, before leaving. She states at this point after victim defendant showed a badge stating, “i'm a cop what are you going to do about it.”

Sergeant Kirkland arrived on scene and spoke with the parties involved also. Victim’s wife told him that the whole incident started innside the bar. She and her sister were on the stage singing karaoke when the defendant approached her and put his hands on her hips. She told him she was married and not interested. After a couple of more advances, she said that one of the band members told the defendant to calm down and go sit down. After they were done on stage she went outside and was speaking to her husband. This is when the defendant approached them. She said her husband told the defendant he was a ranger and the defendant showed her husband a badge, claiming to be a cop. The defendant then slapped her husband inn the face.

Seargand Kirkland also spoke with the victim who stated the defendant did not slap him, he actually punched him, causing a laceration above his eye. Sergeant Kirklannd also confirmed that the Victim wants to pursue criminal charges against the defendant. “
