Driving is a day-to-day activity performed on daily basis. Driver often experiences neck pain and back pain. 5 tips to avoid pain while driving-
(1) Use Lumbar support- It is easily available in the market which can be used as a support while driving. Also, you can use a towel or a cushion to support your back.
(2) Slide the seat forward- Try to keep the steering wheel of your car not far from your body. Do not stretch you hands or bend your neck to see in front. Also, keep your seat aligned from upper back to lower back.
(3) Create seat angulation- Keep your seat angulation in between to 100 and 110 degrees otherwise it will affect our back.
(4) Take rest breaks- Take breaks and stretch your body after 1-2 hours of driving to relax your muscles. Keep yourself hydrated.
(5) How to hold steering while driving- Hold your steering wheel in 10 and 2 o clock positions (suppose wheel as a watch). If you have arm rest in your car, you can hold the wheel in 9 and 3 o clock positions providing rest to your arm.
