Tap Water Basics
This is the easiest form of water as it comes directly from the tap.
However this should be tested to know what is in the water.
This will vary based on location and even town.



Can Tap Water be used?
In some cases yes, and it can produce quality yields
In other cases it can cause plant damage.



Cleaning Tap Water
Depending on what tap water contains different filter options may be utilized to purify the water to make it usable for cannabis production.



Which Filter is the “Best”?
Filter selection should be based on what the grower wants to filter out of the water.
Different filters have different target substances so the best filter is the one that matches the target substance the best.



Filter Options
Carbon Filters
Remove chemicals and heavy metals
Sediment Filters
Captures and removes particulate matter (Ex. Soil, and debris) from the water.
