This driving video starts at remote secluded Bowman Lake Campground and then to the town of Polebridge. This part of the drive is along a rough, dusty, dirt road with blind curves and limited pullouts - this part is best for 4WD, AWD or high clearance vehicles thought regular cars might drive as well with extra caution. Vehicles over 21’ in length and/or vehicle-trailer combinations are prohibited at Bowman Lake due to the nature of road to the campground, and very tight parking areas at each campsite. From Polebridge the road improves still remaining dirt with paved sections. Paved regular road begins closer to Columbia Falls.
