Well this was a fun one! I had an awesome time hiking and exploring a completely foreign part of this river system to me. This river is incredibly special in its high gradient nature that maintains cool water in a deep canyon for bull trout to thrive, but the cost of this is accessibility for those on foot. As difficult as this can make trips, it is extremely special to be somewhere where only a few have ever seen. I definitely plan on making this trip again, and hopefully earlier in the year to attempt to target the bull trout earlier in their migration up stream. Thanks a bunch for watching!
