Well, this trip didn't entirely unfold as I pictured it in my head, but at the end of the day, it was one of my favorite fishing trips purely for the scenery and experience as a whole. Golden trout are definitely one of the more special fish I've ever had the luck to encounter, and while these are not native to the area and were raised in a hatchery, it really gears me towards wanting to make a real trip to target these fish in their native range. Still, the cutthroat fishing was phenomenal for the few hours I took advantage of it. Despite the lack of action in this one, I really hoped you all enjoyed it.
