MIND LOOP | Dark Ambient Exploration: 14 | Subtle 174hz Solfeggio Drone | Wavestate | Minilogue XD

Hello and welcome... This week is a dark and sinister vibe. I made an atmosphere made up of old audio samples recorded on my iPhone / iPod voice memo app from over the last 10 years or more. Various field recordings.
The atmosphere is the core of this ambient performance, and I play the Minilogue XD and Wavestate in a supporting context to add some extra spice.

This week the props are some of the toys that me and my brother had as children. I went to see my dad recently and had a nostalgic search up in his loft.
* A model of the U.S.S. Enterprise based on Star Trek 6 The Undiscovered Country (NCC-1701-A).
* A cassette tape of an old audio recording from the early 1990's
* A police car, which apparently was bought for my brother Chris when my mom was going into hospital to give birth to me in 1980! :-)

On the Wavestate I'm playing a multi-sample of a Trumpet and it's played on lower octaves, so it sounds more like a Tuba or Horn at times.
On the XD I'm playing a similar (ish) timbre sound to the Trumpet but it is obviously synthesised with 2 VCO oscillators and a touch of the multi engine oscillator.

The master tuning of both synths is set to 432hz instead of the 'standardised' 440hz. This is to explore into the realm of the Solfeggio frequencies.
