KYUSHU ONSEN road trip: Beppu & Kurokawa Onsen | Japan travel vlog

Our epic onsen road trip continues! Join us on Day 2 of our Kyushu road trip as we explore the beautiful hot spring towns of Kurokawa Onsen and Beppu in our latest Japan travel vlog!

Our day begins in Kurokawa Onsen with a traditional Japanese breakfast and a relax in a private onsen with an amazing view of 'Momiji' – the vivid autumn leaves. We also explore the quaint Kurokawa Onsen town before hitting the road to Beppu, admiring the stunning views of Southern Japan's scenic landscapes.

Beppu, known as the hot spring capital of the world, awaits us with its famous 7 Hells – a series of vividly colored geothermal hot springs featuring everything from red and blue waters to bubbling mud and geysers. Check out our other Beppu videos here:

Lunch includes a spicy ramen feast, followed by the adventurous taste of an onsen-cooked egg and 'insen' water, a local specialty known for its health benefits despite its unusual taste. We also do a complete hotel tour of Nagomitsuki Ryokan in Beppu, showcasing our room with a private onsen and the communal onsen facilities.

Our day wraps up with a visit to Ebisuya Onsen, adding to our list of relaxing hot spring experiences. Don't miss out on this incredible journey through Japan's most famous onsen towns.
