Описание к видео Exploring Malaysia by Motorcycle 2024 PART 2

Join us as we explore Malaysia's Genting Highlands, Bukit Malawati, Bangsar Village, Petaling Street (and Phuket) on motorcycle.

PART 2 - The Sequel

In PART 1, we took a much longer road trip around Peninsular Malaysia and into Singapore. In this episode, we do a deeper dive into some of the neighborhood spots and a few shorter road trips - mainly Bukit Malawati, Genting Highlands, KL City Centre, and Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur and briefly, Phuket, Thailand (Rawai Beach).

We visit the mysterious PS 150 Speakeasy, thriving in a pre-war secret location. We get covered in monkeys and learn some lessons on how to pack for unfamiliar climates while visiting the Genting Highlands and SkyCasino.

In February 2024, two friends and I set out to explore Malaysia by motorcycle. This wasn't the first time we'd embarked on such an adventure. In 2023, around the same time of year, we explored Vietnam by motorcycle with a larger group. You can watch that video here:    • Vietnam by Motorcycle 2023  . The experience was so life-changing that we decided to do it again!

This time, we started in Kuala Lumpur, where Peter, one of our riders, has family. We picked up our motorcycles from Bino Motorbike Rentals and began our first road trip loop. For seven days, we traveled from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca, then to Johor Bahru - across the water from Singapore. After spending a day in Singapore, we returned to Johor Bahru for a second night. We then traveled up the East Coast to Kuala Rompin, a very small town, and continued on to Kuantan, a popular vacation destination and beach city. The final leg of our journey took us across the interior back to KL, with a couple of stops along the way: one at a famous restaurant, "Restoran Sedap Wehh," and another at Sungai Pandan Waterfall, before returning home to KL.
