Two Steam Together Braunton & Tangmere Carlisle 30 08 2024

Just minutes apart these two charter trains ran on the West Coast Main Line to Carlisle where they stood side by side a while before going for servicing First to leave was Braunton which would go into LS new servicing area at Upperby Yard while Tangmere would be serviced in the yard which I had a brief look at through an open electric gate before continuing to the junction with the Settle Carlisle line where I waited for both trains. I thought there was a chance of them being seen together there but they let Braunton out onto the main before Tangmere passed. After that it was a quick walk back to the station to see Braunton's departure.
