ORIGINAL INFO: Gotta go fast! Gotta get this thing over with as fast as possible!

RUMINATIONS: Even after all these years later, “Oooh what you say” remains my ringtone in the show. Except for in the movie, when it became my theme song because legal reasons.

Will played the Ninja Style Dancer at the end and of course it’s pretty obvious seeing as he has very different eyebrows from me. One of these days the Ninja will actually be able to contribute meaningfully without getting knocked unconscious or taken or something, but at least he’s usually three steps ahead of the rest of the cast. This also introduced the fully remote-controlled cybermat, with even lights that could flicker if I adjusted one of the levers, so that was fun to show off here. Really its only problem is that it’s the largest of all the Cybermats on the show (there’s actually one more I haven’t showed off that’s completely made of metal made by a fan, but it’s HUGE). This episode also completely confirms that Dr. Linksano is under the sway of the King of Worms, though what that means won’t be shown for a few more episodes.

That list of comics that I’d never review… has of course been broken a lot, sadly. Some of them I maintain I will never review on the show (outside of Patreon-sponsored stuff, since let’s face it – I’ll do it for money), but still others I’m just like “screw it.” Sonic is always a big thing that people want me to review, although that seems to have been supplanted by My Little Pony these days. Still, the opportunity arose when I first learned of Evan Stanley slipping me in as a background character in a Sonic comic (followed soon after by an appearance in Littlest Pet Shop, which sadly I couldn’t find contact info for the creators there, but who later told me would have been willing to make a cameo) and expressing that she’d love to make a cameo in the future in a Sonic-related review. I of course knew about the crossover with the Image characters and had had a few copies over the years, so I figured it was time to finally bring it out.

It still stuns me to learn that ANYONE in a professional capacity has watched my stuff, what’s more that they LIKE my stuff. One could argue, “Well, it’s not like it’s someone from DC or Marvel,” but that’s irrelevant – it’s a professionally-published work, especially something like this where it’s a licensed book for a character enjoyed far outside of the medium. It’s humbling and an important reminder that while I may be fueled by anger at terrible creative decisions in the medium, there ARE people on the other end of my vitriol. Some, like Frank Miller, deserve all the bile I heap at them for their toxic, awful worldviews… others are just people who are trying to do a job and shouldn’t necessarily get insults thrown their way. And certainly no insults should be hurled at people who were nice enough to include me in works like this when they certainly didn’t need to, or make an appearance on some dork’s comic book review show.
