SSTC pt. 15 - Tesla Coil Experiments

Today, let's do some random experiments with my Tesla Coil (a solid state one). Let's play with discharges to a grounded electrode and let's remotely power some gas filled tubes. A Tesla coil can wirelessly transfer energy to various fluorescent tubes, neon lamps, discharge lamps and even LEDs. Let's also try to color the sparks using salt that contains sodium.

WARNING: These experiments are very dangerous. Risk of electric shock. Risk of fire. Risk of burns. Items with vacuum or a very low pressure in them may produce harmful x-ray radiation when exposed to a high voltage.
