Continuing our Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beginner's Guide series, we are taking a look at Imperial Tank Busters: Tank Busters are Empire of Rising Sun's Tier 1 anti-armor infantry. They fire plasma lasers that heavily cripple vehicles and structures, but cannot damage air units. Their special ability lets them burrow into a Spider Hole to evade crushing and melee attacks from Dogs & Bears. While burrowed, Tank Busters also receive a significant defense bonus. (However, there is a glitch that nullifies their burrow effect. The glitch is addressed in the 1.12.6 Bug Fix.)

For Tank Buster's strategy, you can combo them with a large number of Imperial Warriors for additional DPS as well as wall-breaking. Tengus can escort a Sudden Transport loaded with TB, providing anti-air & anti-infantry protection as well as body blocking, while TB quickly relocate & harass harvesters.
