The demonstration shows generally the difference between bad and good induction hobs. The main difference is working on low power settings. Simple and cheap induction hobs can not work continuously at low power. They use visible start/stop periods on a few seconds base. Very visible.

Good induction hobs can work continuously at low power. Start/stop periods can be detected even on good induction, but just on very low power, and start/stop periods are shorter and faster. Very hardly detectable.
