Priva - 'Your Givin Me [Mr Sinister Radio Edit]' (2000)

Here's another example of bad grammar that no one noticed before manufacturing a load of vinyl/CDs with it printed all over the artwork! Released in 2000, 'Your Givin Me' (which should be 'You're Givin' Me'?) seems to be the only release by dance vocalist Priva. Written and produced by Priva McPherson with David Stevens, this dance track was self-released on Priva Productions Ltd. and distributed by Recognition/Universal. Of the three mixes on the CD single, the original mix is more of a UK garage style production, whilst the Mr Sinister mixes are more '90s disco house. In the mix, is a sampled retro cartoon blast sound, which I love. Perhaps it's from an X-Men cartoon, and that's why the name of the mix makes reference to villain Mr Sinister? Who knows...
