Flaxxa Wapi allows you to easily create and import contacts into the platform, enabling you to manage customer lists, target specific groups, and send personalized WhatsApp campaigns. Follow this guide to create and import your contacts in Flaxxa Wapi.

Step 1: Access the Contacts Section
Log into your Flaxxa Wapi account.
Navigate to the “Contacts” section on the dashboard.
You’ll find options to either create new contacts manually or import contacts in bulk.
Step 2: Manually Create a New Contact
Click on “Create New Contact”.
Fill in the contact details:
Full Name: Enter the name of the contact.
Phone Number: Add the contact’s WhatsApp number, ensuring the correct country code is used.
Email (Optional): Include the email address for additional communication purposes.
Tags (Optional): Assign tags (e.g., “VIP,” “New Customer,” “Lead”) to categorize the contact for better segmentation and targeting.

To ensure correct formatting, Flaxxa Wapi provides a sample CSV file.
Download the file to use as a template for your contact list.
Prepare the CSV File:
Open the sample CSV file and enter your contact data.
Ensure the following fields are correctly filled:
Name: The full name of the contact.
Phone Number: The WhatsApp phone number (including the country code, e.g., +1 for the USA).
Email: (Optional) Add the email address.
Tags: You can assign multiple tags to each contact (e.g., "VIP, Repeat Buyer").
Custom Fields: You can include extra fields, such as location, last purchase date, or preferences.
Save and Upload the CSV:
Once your CSV file is ready and formatted correctly, save it.
Go back to Flaxxa Wapi and click “Upload File”.
Select your CSV file from your device.

After uploading the CSV, Flaxxa Wapi will ask you to map the fields in your CSV to the contact fields in the system.
For example, map "Phone Number" in your CSV to the "Phone Number" field in Flaxxa Wapi, and so on.

Step 5: Review & Confirm Import
After mapping, Flaxxa Wapi will provide a summary of the imported contacts for review.
Check for any errors or missing information. If there are errors, you can correct the CSV file and re-upload it.
Once everything looks correct, click “Confirm Import” to complete the process.
Step 6: Organize Contacts with Groups & Tags
Once your contacts are imported, you can organize them using groups and tags:
Create groups like “Leads,” “Returning Customers,” or “Event Attendees” to segment your contact list.
Use tags to mark important customer traits or engagement levels, such as “High-Value,” “Potential Lead,” or “Feedback Requested.”
