Chasing BIG Yellowbelly - 📍WINDAMERE DAM

Spring Time = Yellowbelly Time. A quick weekend trip up to Lake Windamere turned into a grand adventure chasing the incredible sport fish, Yellowbelly Perch. (AKA Golden Perch, Yellas, Callop). Windamere Dam is known for BIG yellas, and chasing them on lures is an incredible rush.

Using soft vibe lures, like the Samaki Vibelicious, and the lift and shake technique landed some fantastic fish for us saltwater fisherman. Though they're freshwater fish, the good old Yella pulls some great string and look fantastic on camera.
