Happy New Year!
I really wanted to do something special for the last day of 2025, and it came together so nicely because this is my 25th uploaded song! Wooo!

This year was probably one of the most difficult years of my life. But I’m not here to talk about that. I want to focus on the thing that helped me throughout the year, and that’s the joy and laughter I get from watching Shoot From the Hip.

These four amazing individuals came into my life at the moment I needed it most. Their videos lifted my spirit and my mood; they made me laugh and made me cry. They made such a difference in my life. They also inspired me to get back into music and to be brave enough to share what I create with others. I’ve always loved singing, but what happened this year has been so fulfilling.

Every time I’m about to release a new song, I’m scared. I’m afraid because I want it to connect with people like me—fans who get invested in the stories and the emotions behind them. I don’t want to disappoint. But it’s actually SFTH who give me the courage to post my songs, and I’m so thankful for that. Music has become such a strong part of this year and helped me keep going.

Now, this song—like I said—I wanted to do something special. I wanted it to be something more. I wanted it to celebrate SFTH and what they do, and most of all, the connection they share with each other: their friendship. They’ve known each other for so long, work very closely together, and yet you can still see how supportive they are of one another. That’s one of the things that inspired me the most.

This song is based on their friendship, but not just that. Even if it’s not explicitly stated in the lyrics, what I also see behind this song is the friendships created among the fans. This community is probably the kindest I could ever wish for. Everyone is so nice, welcoming, supportive, and funny. It’s amazing to see how simply enjoying the same things can lead to people forming such strong bonds. This year, I personally gained two amazing friends.

I’m so thankful that the YouTube algorithm one day happened to recommend an SFTH video to me, because honestly, I don’t know what my year would look like without it.
