It was a frenetic Friday at Monza, with Kimi Antonelli badly damaging George Russell's Mercedes in FP1 and Kevin Magnussen bringing out the red in FP2. Through it all - or through the traffic jams - it was Mercedes' Sir Lewis Hamilton who topped the soft-tyre runs in FP2, ahead of McLaren-Mercedes' Lando Norris and Ferrari's driver soon-to-be-sacked, the epic Carlos Sainz.
