Gouache Techniques & Textures: Replicating Mary Blair’s Concept Art from Disney’s Peter Pan

Описание к видео Gouache Techniques & Textures: Replicating Mary Blair’s Concept Art from Disney’s Peter Pan

SLOWED DOWN for your pleasure. I've been asked to slow down my videos, so I did! That's why this video is over 20 mins.

I'm so charmed by the whimsical, mermaid paintings Mary Blair did for Disney's 1953 adaptation of Peter Pan. Each has a moody and magical colour palette, a variety of fun textures, and wavy foliage that is so fun to paint. I will be painting more of these!

PS: The Moon is NOT full. It's a waxing gibbous. SHEEESH
