A Palestinian child recounts losing his arm while he was playing football with his friends.

“I found my hand had dropped on the floor.”

Haytham Al Ashqar recounts losing his arm while playing football with his friends near his home in Al Jadeed refugee camp in Al Nusairat when two Israeli airstrikes hit the camp. While his friends were killed in the attack, Haytham survived but lost his arm.

Haytham hopes to travel abroad for treatment and to receive a prosthetic arm which will enable him to resume his hobbies.
