Traveling North Carolina & West Virginia in a New, Broken RV

Описание к видео Traveling North Carolina & West Virginia in a New, Broken RV

As we make a second attempt to start our Eastern United States Road Trip we encounter yet another a catastrophic failure. This one occurred during the first rain storm we encountered. You would think that a brand new RV would be waster tight, but in this case you would be wrong. In this video we explain what occurred and the process we undertook to attempt repairs so we could salvage the rest of the trip. We also document our many hikes through some of the most beautiful forests in America. We also include a closer introduction to our new Tow Vehicle, "Ruby."

After three years in a Class B, we decided to purchase a 2024 Tiffin Wayfarer 25RW. Our intention was to travel with the RV up the eastern coast of the United States from Florida to Maine. However, we only made it to a North Carolina RV Park before we had to reverse course for repairs. Just when we thought we were in the clear, we experience another possibly trip-ending failure. Once again we go through the roller coaster ride of emotions while dealing with another of the worst RV nightmares you can ever experience.

Will we be able to continue on to Maine, or will this latest issue break us?

This video is also the first of our series showing out road trip across the Eastern United States. We visit a number of scenic spots and take a few hiking trails into the wilderness. We start with Linville Falls & Gorge, then we drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway for another 3 plus mile hike at Crabtree Falls. We visit Mt. Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi River, but are disappointed to find it covered in clouds. After that, we travel to Summersville, West Virginia where we explore numerous waterfalls, and the New River Gorge and Bridge. Finally, we head south to Sandstone Falls where we experience more waterfalls than you could ever count.

The Summersville Lake Retreat & Lighthouse provides the backdrop for a stunning fireworks show and live band during an Independence Day celebration. This campground is truly one of a kind.

Stay tuned as we continue our adventures traveling in our brand new class C RV.
