Jago 342| Volunteering in an Archaeological Excavation: Tel Burna and Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Описание к видео Jago 342| Volunteering in an Archaeological Excavation: Tel Burna and Hebrew University of Jerusalem

This is a glimpse of what I did during the first week of volunteering in an academic archaeological excavation. The site's name is Tel Burna and it's believed to be the Biblical Libnah. According to the Bible, King Josiah's wife was from this town.

The team also joined an academic conference hosted by Hebrew University of Jerusalem. So in this video you can see a little how the campus looks like. It's situated on Mount Scopus, from which you can view the old city of Jerusalem.

For volunteering opportunity, you can check: https://www.biblicalarchaeology.org/d...
Every year, they will compile a list of archaeological sites that are looking for volunteers.
