Cleaning the Fluval FX2 after 3 months. The importance of a clean filter!

This was always something that we discussed with customers in the store and I do think a fair few issues in your aquarium could come down to thinking your filter is working when it's actually not.

The ‪@fluval‬ FX2 has performed very well through this 3 month period, but it definitely performs better when the sponges have space to catch the muck!

It was quite a surprise how much of a difference this made to the rare tetra aquarium and even now when I stir the aquarium up it clears within seconds rather than still looking murky an hour later.

So remember, just because your filter is flowing, doesn't necessarily mean it's working!
