Recipe
Ingredients

• 500 g minced Pork
• 500 g minced Beef
• 180 g breadcrumbs
• 1 teaspoon ground coriander
• 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 3 teaspoons salt
• 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
• 1 egg
• chilled water (optional)


Instructions
Add meat to bowl
Add the Egg to the bowl
In three batches add breadcrumbs, nutmeg, coriander, salt and pepper, to the bowl. (it is handy if you have premixed the powdered ingredients)
Incorporate each batch completely before adding more, and remember to turn the bottom of the mixture.
Mix thoroughly
Add water sparingly just to make it sticky, if required
Line a square tin with cling film.
Push the mixture into the tin. Press firmly down
Chill overnight (minimum 8 hours)
Slice, fry and serve.


If freezing first place on a metal tray or similar and after about 12 hours (and frozen) the slices can be stored in a storage bag or similar without sticking together
