Naomi Osaka spends time with girls from Play Academy programs in Japan

Play Academy hosted a series of sports festivals in Tokyo to celebrate International Day of the Girl (October 11), and Naomi Osaka joined in on the fun!

Play Academy is a partnership with Naomi Osaka, Laureus Sport for Good and Nike to change girls' lives through play and sport.

Since its launch in Tokyo in 2020, Play Academy has also expanded to Los Angeles and Haiti, all places close to Naomi's heart. The program has provided grants and capacity-building training for community sports organizations and emphasizes fun, positive play experiences and coaches who are trained in gender-inclusivity.
