○ Camping/Accommodation ○
● Indoor accommodation is available in Derrylahan, Glencolmcille, and Ardara, as well as a couple of other points along this trail.
In Glencolmcille where we stayed in Keltic Lodge, some affordable self catering accommodation.
● At the end of our first day we stayed at Derrylahan campsite (which also has a hostel). This is the only official campsite along this trail, however wild camping is possible along the route. It is always important to ask landowners for permission in Ireland, as there is no right to roam and most land is privately owned.

○ Public transport ○
Ardara is the largest town on this trail, and has the most public transport options.
● Bus Eireann route 492 - connecting Ardara to Donegal town, Glenties, and Dungloe: https://www.buseireann.ie/timetable/9... // https://www.buseireann.ie/inner.php?i...
● The 991 bus departing from Letterkenny, has 8 stops including Ardara and Killybegs, and ending in Glencolumbcille (Opp School). Run by McGeehan Coaches. https://moovitapp.com/index/en/public...
● Local Link Donegal is a regional small route bus service that connects many small villages and towns, and is great for getting around affordably. More info: http://locallinkdonegal.ie/
