Out of the blue Cathy T. started getting vertigo and dizziness while driving home. Her symptoms kept happening over the next few weeks and she became extremely fatigued. After blood tests, her platelet count was found to be low. After further testing, she learned she had an enlarged spleen and abnormal red blood cells. After a month of uncertainty, Cathy was officially diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called myelofibrosis.

In this video, Cathy shares what those initial symptoms felt like, how she processed the diagnosis, and advice for others who may be starting a similar journey. Her story highlights the importance of listening to your body when something feels off.
