Before you even turn, the quality of your turn is already decided. That moment where you go up into retiré and freeze, that is the one.

If you do not train that stillness, if you do not hold and organize every detail in one place such as your shoulders, your hips, your standing leg, your focus, then the turn will never work.

That is not preparation, that is habit. But if you practice freezing with control, that muscle memory will carry you. So do not rush. Do not look around. Do not let go too soon.

Prepare correctly at the barre and the turn will be there when you need it.
