India Today Conclave East: Mamata Banerjee Speaks On Her 2024 Gameplan, Maha Political Crisis & more

Speaking at India Today Conclave East, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee alleged that rebel Shiv Sena MLAs who were camping in Assam during the Maharashtra political crisis were provided money by the BJP, along with "other things". She refused to elaborate on what these "other things" may be. “I believe this government will not continue. It’s an unethical undemocratic government. They might have won the government, but they did not win the heart of Maharashtra,” Mamata Banerjee said. Asked about her past statement that the next election will be BJP versus the people of the country, Mamata Banerjee elaborated, “In 2024 election people will not vote to elect a govt, but vote to protest. It will not be a select vote, but a reject vote.”
