Suicide Squad: How NOT to Kill a Hero

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League hit the internet like an atom bomb, with the discourse around Arkham Batman being spread far and wide. For anyone who was a fan of Arkham Asylum, City, or Knight, the treatment of Batman was... not well received. And his death scene has reopened a lot of old wounds around Joel from the Last of Us, Luke Skywalker from Star Wars, and plenty of other unpopular death scenes.

Which led me to wonder... what's the best way to kill a hero? How do you kill off a popular character without generating backlash? Guess the only way to deal with it... is to talk about it!

I know there are theories that the Justice League in the game will later be revealed to be clones or something but as of the time of this video, it's presented as being the canonical death of Arkham Batman. Also if Rocksteady do reveal that, it'll make things honestly worse by being clickbait cowardice.
