Over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd of July the Talyllyn held their, what is becoming an annual event, Awdry Extravaganza, celebrating all things related to the Reverend Wilbert Awdry, mostly the Railway Series or better known as Thomas the tank engine.
5 different engines from the Skarloey Railway visited the railway for the event! Ok... not really but imagine!
No. 3 'Sir Handel' (Sir Haydn)
No. 6 'Duncan' (Douglas)
No. 7 'Ivo Hugh' (Tom Rolt)
No. 9 'Fred' (Alf)
And making a comeback was 'Smudger'! (Dolgoch)
